I've always believed that because I work from home and have some control over my career direction, that I did not carry as much stress as others might.  But that was before Vacation!

I just returned from my week vacation in Las Vegas, with some interesting thoughts going through my head.  I landed at home, got in my car, and I looked like the scene out of Jerry Maguire where Tom Cruise lands his first client as a new agency, gets in the car, rolls down the window and blares the tunes.

I haven't felt like this in a while -- ready to take on the world again and make magic happen.  It made me realize that we ALL must find time and/or ways to take a vacation so we can get a break from stress.  Stress is a wolf in sheep clothing -- seems harmless enough until it is too late.

Here are some other stress busting techniques I found on the Reader's Digest blog site:

-- Freshly Landered Sheets always feel so "ahhhhh" when you crawl into bed.  So when you're stressed, change your sheets!

-- Pop some Bubble Wrap.  Can't find any?  You can pop bubble wrap on line at:  www.virtual-bubblewrap.com

-- Auromathery.  Using Lavendar auromathery oils on your wrist and take in a wiff throughout the day.  This is a soothing, relaxing, and calming fragrance.

-- Game Play.  This is one my favorites.  Play a short game of Bejeweled or your favorite game.  Set a time limit so it doesn't become addictive!
